Art Education

With over 15 years of experience of educating and working alongside children and teenagers, I have a strong passion for art education. I believe that everyone is inherently creative, and I strive to foster this innate sense of creativity in nurturing children to become lifelong artists. By drawing from my own understanding as a trained visual artist and utilizing Reggio and exploration-based philosophies, I bring a unique artistic perspective to the art classroom.

My recent experience with children includes my residency with the Louisville Public Library’s COLLIDER Program, as well as Louisville Visual Art’s Children’s Fine Art Class program, Virginia Chance School, and the Carnegie Center’s Family Fun program. If you are interested in having me provide a unique art experience to your school or organization, or to offer one-on-one or workshop classes or lessons to your child, please contact me!

I also have a passion for teaching adults, and offer workshops in paper flower-making. Please contact me if you are interested in inviting me to hold a paper flower class for you and your group/organization!
